After a months-long bidding process, timesonindia.com has finally found a buyer. Chartered Blogger is officially acquiring Timeson India Group core business for Undisclosed Amount in cash, which includes timesonindia.com Online News Portal, content, Indianblogger.org etc.
“Just over a year ago, we acquired charterdblogger.com to enhance our strategy of helping home buyers by posting physically reviews real estate projects on sale,” Chartered Blogger Founder and Blogger in Chief Farhan Rasheed said in the release. “The acquisition of timesonindia.com will put Chartered Blogger in a highly competitive position as a top Indian Social media company, and help accelerate our revenue stream in digital advertising.”
Once the deal closes, Chartered Blogger wants to merge Timesonindia.com and indianblogger.org to form a bigger Blogger media subsidiary. This way, indianblogger.org gets more readers and reaches enough internet and mobile users to become an blogging giant reaching hundreds of millions or even billions of people.
Eventually, Chartered Blogger wants to compete with all the Bloggers around the world when it comes to blogging. Online blogging is currently dominated by the two Silicon Valley-based companies. Chartered Blogger wants to become the third way.

While Chartered Blogger has been the most likely buyer from day one, other potential buyers included are from different industry and lacked blogging experience.
