BMT Fhas registered a case against former Mayor and his wife

Bangalore Metropolitan Task Force (BMTF) has Filed case against former Mayor D. Venkatesh Murthy as well as his wife K. Prabha for encroaching on the civic amenity (CA) site calculating 12, 000 sq ft from Padmanabhanagar.
 
The site belongs towards the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) and it is estimated to be worth more than Rs. 10 crore.
 
The BMTF has additionally booked two BDA officials, that allegedly helped Mr. Murthy get the property illegally.
 
The site is a part of a layout developed by Jayanagar Home Building Co-operative Society at Padmanabhanagar (Ward 182).
 
Forged documents
 
Mr. Murthy had allegedly Forged property documents claiming ownership and had got the land registered in his wife’s title.
 
The BMTF, which conducted an in depth probe, summoned Mr. Murthy and also the officials concerned and recorded their own statement. “We found that they’ve created bogus documents to declare ownership. The two BDA officers contributed to the registration, ” a senior officer told bangalorerealestate.co.
